Instructor: Sylvia L. Singleton, RN, CHC, Certified ACHC Consultant
Sylvia L. Singleton has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. She spent 15 years in Medicare working for a Medicare Contractor. This experience included implementing processes following CMS-directed rules and regulations for policy development, initiated medical review of claims, and reviewed data analytics.
Sylvia has utilized that knowledge and leadership at Caris Healthcare, serving as the Corporate Compliance Officer for the last eight years. She is certified in healthcare compliance through HCCA and as a state survey consultant through ACHC. She serves as an active member of The Carolinas Center for the End-of-Life Care, currently serving as an Executive Board Member. Sylvia has served on the NHPCO Regulatory Committee, and as faculty for the NHPCO Hospice Compliance Certificate Program to improve and inform on hospice regulations and patient care.

The target audience for this course is: Nurses; in the following settings: Hospice.
